Built in 1543 The George is over looked by Peveril Castle, just off the busy main through road up Castle Street opposite the church.
Ideally situated with great views of Mam Tor from the rear Beer Garden
& a Fantastic View of Peveril Castle from the front seating area.

We offer a wide and varied choice of Traditional Pub food from Pies to Freshly made Pizza's, all of which are locally sourced and freshly prepared and cooked by our team of fully trained chefs,
